Digging Deeper is a course designed to help you dig into the Bible for yourself. There are 3 options from which you can choose:
1. The Foundational Course - is based on Mark's gospel and introduces you to some simple tools which can be applied to any book of the Bible. The course lasts 6 weeks and each week you will learn one tool which will help you carefully observe the facts, interpret the meaning and apply the truth appropriately. This will change the way you read your Bible!
2. Digging Deeper 2 - the Follow-on Course - looks at Paul's New Testament letter to the Colossians. Over 6 weeks this course builds on the previous one, seeking to add to the skills you have already lerant. You will gain some new insights into God's wonderful truth.
3. Why not try a 'One Off' Taster evening? The best way to find out more and introduce you and your group to these simple tools is to consider hosting or attending a taster workshop.
We are happy to make all of these Digging Deeper options available in your local church or area.
We are running a Digging Deeper Course for six evenings from Monday 21st September to 26th October 2009 in the EM office, 103-113 Ravenhill Road, Belfast. This is for people with a passion for God and His Word and teaching skills which they would be willing to use in their own church. The course will be followed by a teacher training day on Saturday 21st November.
