God’s Word is clear, “Where there is no vision people perish.”  
Proverbs 29:18 (KJV).

In a survey undertaken in America it was found that,

“One of the major reasons 85% of the churches in America are either plateaued or dying is because they and their leadership have little or no vision. They do not see and thus do not know where they are going.” Aubrey Malphurs

The situation in the UK is little different. One heartfelt cry comes from Dr Peter Brierly, the Executive Director of the Christian Research Association,

"Where are the visionaries...Where are the Christian leaders and lay people who can see vibrant, overflowing churches and a nation turning back to God?"

If ever there was a time for vision and visionary churches it is now!

All successful 'visionary' journeys begin by answering three key questions:

• Where are we now? 
• Where are we going? And...
• How will we get there?

The resources we have available are very deliberately designed to help a church consider the answers to these hugely important questions. But we don't wish to leave a church with just a Biblical blueprint, we want to help the church take the journey marked out for it. This is why we don't just stop at envisioning, but also seek to enable, equip and enrich.
